Does Zooplus Deliver in Hungary?
Yes. Zooplus delivers orders within Hungary. According to the current Zooplus Hungary delivery information, most orders are processed and passed to the delivery company within 24 hours after the order is received. Zooplus currently lists DPD, Express One and Magyar Posta among its delivery partners.
For DPD and Express One deliveries, Zooplus states that packages generally arrive within 1–3 working days after leaving the warehouse. Magyar Posta deliveries may take 5–7 days. There can be exceptions. Zooplus notes that some products may occasionally come from a more distant foreign warehouse, which can increase the delivery time.
This is one reason I wouldn’t promise readers that a Zooplus order will always arrive within a specific number of days. This is probably one of the first things worth checking before placing an order. At the time I updated this guide, Zooplus Hungary was offering new customers 5% off their first order of at least 15,990 HUF with the coupon:

The offer requires a Zooplus account and, according to Zooplus, cannot be combined with another coupon code or discount. However, don’t assume this code will remain active indefinitely. Another First-Order Option: The Zooplus App
Zooplus currently advertises a separate offer for a customer’s first order placed through its app. At the time of writing, the offer is 2,000 HUF off a first app order of at least 16,990 HUF using the code:

Again, promotions can change, and different coupon codes generally cannot be combined. If you’re a new customer, it is worth comparing the current first-order offers before checking out rather than automatically applying the first code you see.
Where Can You Find Current Zooplus Coupons?
Registered customers can also receive personalised coupons inside their Zooplus accounts. Zooplus says these can be found under myzooplus → Kuponjaim (My Coupons). If you plan to order more than once, it’s therefore worth checking your account before each purchase. Zooplus also runs temporary brand promotions and app-only offers. These are precisely the kinds of discounts that can become outdated quickly, so I wouldn’t bookmark a single coupon and expect it to work forever.

How Do zooPoints Work?

Whether Premium is worthwhile will depend on how frequently you order and how much you spend. If you place one small order a year, paying for extra membership benefits may not make much sense. If you regularly order large bags of pet food, litter or other recurring supplies, it is worth doing the calculation based on your own annual spending.
Zooplus Relax: Regular Pet Food Deliveries
One feature I find particularly interesting for people who repeatedly buy the same pet food is Zooplus Relax. It works as a recurring-delivery service for eligible products. Instead of remembering to reorder every time you’re nearly out of food, you choose the products and delivery frequency and Zooplus automatically sends them.
At the time of writing, Zooplus advertises:

However, I wouldn’t subscribe purely for the discount before knowing that a particular product works for your pet. For food especially, I’d first make sure it suits your animal before arranging repeated deliveries.

The range is considerably broader than the pet section of a typical supermarket. Depending on your pet, you’ll find categories including:

Is Zooplus Hungary Cheap?
I would be careful about calling Zooplus the cheapest pet shop in Hungary. I haven’t personally completed enough like-for-like price comparisons to make that claim, and pet-product pricing varies considerably by brand, package size, promotion and retailer. A better way to decide whether an online order represents good value is to compare the final price per kilogram or unit, including any delivery cost.
